It has an odor whe cooked, and I highly doubt it's actual wagyu beef tallow the fat is hard even at room tempature. From what I understand wagyu fat is very soft and almost melts at the touch.

Great alternative to butter, oil or margarine. I have used it for frying and sautéing and I have used it for adding flavour to smoked meats such as Smoked Brisket etc etc. Excellent product, I highly recommend that you try it, it tastes great and adds another layer of fatty flavour.
